Yes. It is a requirement of our practice that anyone with respiratory symptoms must have a COVID RAT negative result before attending. This RAT test must be relevant to the current symptoms you are consulting the practitioner for and done on the day of your appointment.

In the current climate where people are required to isolate if they contract this virus, we need to be vigilant in screening patients to ensure we are not running low on staff so we can provide you with ongoing healthcare.

A photo of your negative RAT result (time stamped) is suffice. Otherwise you are welcome to bring the RAT test device to your appointment.

No. Balmain Village Health will have a RAT test for you to purchase or alternatively can buy from a local pharmacy.

Testing can not be done on site.

As it is clearly stated when booking an appointment and on our website you must book a ‘respiratory unwell’ appointment if you have symptoms. If you have symptoms and book a standard consultation you will be rebooked into the next available ‘respiratory unwell’ appointment time.
