On completion of her medical degree, Dr. Luo studied further and graduated with a PhD in Medicine. She then pursued a career in Medical Research in Australia and USA for 10 years with special interests in Cardiovascular disease, Diabetes and Renal Disease. She acquired a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from the University of Sydney and a Certificate in Women’s’ Health from NSW Family Planning Australia.

Dr Luo completed her medical training at hospitals in Sydney. Her training in mental health at St Vincent Hospital has offered extensive experience in various areas of Psychiatry. Her experience in Paediatrics at the Westmead Children’s Hospital has been valuable in management of Paediatric conditions throughout her general practice years.

Dr Luo has worked as a General Practitioner in a Private Clinic and a Visiting Medical Officer at the local hospital on the South Coast, NSW. This offered her the opportunities to manage complicated and serious conditions independently due to lack of specialist input in this regional community. She has special interest in detection of skin cancers, and she have acquired skills in surgical treatment of skin cancers.

Outside work, Dr Luo always maintains a balanced lifestyle. She jogs daily prior to work. She plays golf and practices Piano at her free time. She believes that a doctor needs to maintain a good physical and mental health so that she can offer the best care to her patients.
